AROUND GOLDILOCKS
There are many things to do while you're staying with us at Goldilocks Haven. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is approximately 10 minutes away with many exciting and different things to do within the Park. Hiking, picnicking, horseback riding, enjoying the scenery, and many other outdoor activities in the mountains await our guests.
If you're not particularly an outdoor person or just need a break, Downtown Gatlinburg is also a short drive away. It offers many unique shops, such as the Lazy One store, which sells loungewear that has funny puns. The town is very pedestrian friendly and offers fabulous eateries, including our favorite: Pancake Pantry. Southern hospitality is one of the many things that makes Gatlinburg a perfect vacation getaway. Accompanied by a cabin that functions as a home-away-from-home, we're positive Goldilocks Haven is the "just right" lodging option for your rest and relaxation destination in the mountains.

HORSEBACK RIDING
For your enjoyment, there are several horseback riding options in the Smokies. Some tours are guided, and for experienced riders, others are not. Be prepared for magnificent views in the great outdoors.
RIVER RAFTING
The mountain setting makes river rafting extremely fun after a rainstorm. Be prepared to get wet! This is an involved activity so don't expect to take a relaxing boat ride down the river. Canoeing is offered for that. We enjoyed this, and we are sure you will too! Your muscles might be sore afterward, but we offer a hot tub for such an occasion.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Strap the bike to the back of the car and head to a campsite within the Park. Enjoy lunch by the stream as you hear the water sounds, and then hop onto one of the many hiking trails within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
PANCAKE PANTRY
This is our favorite restaurant in Downtown Gatlinburg. Daily, they prepare their own fresh whipped butter, and their pancakes are nothing like the ones at a pancake chain. They also serve lunch. It is very popular, so expect a wait time even before they open. It is well worth the wait! Yum!
